Spooktacular Halloween Celebration at LHCH 👻
This Halloween, Loving Hands Children’s Home hosted a spooktacular celebration filled with joy, creativity, and community spirit! Our families, friends, and neighbors came together for an unforgettable evening of fun and to honor one of our young children’s birthdays, reminding them that they are important, seen, loved, and supported.
The night was alive with exciting games, festive Halloween music, delicious food, and the highlight of the evening, our much-anticipated Thriller dance performance for neighborhood trick-or-treaters!
🕺 Dancing Our Way to Confidence and Connection
In the weeks leading up to Halloween, our children and families participated in a fun virtual dance class every Friday and Sunday via Zoom, where they learned Michael Jackson’s legendary “Thriller” routine.
Each session encouraged creativity, teamwork, laughs and confidence, as participants practiced the iconic choreography together. Through movement and music, the children developed coordination, discipline, and self-expression, all while having a blast preparing for the big night.
When Halloween arrived, the grand performance became a beautiful display of unity and joy. The dancers’ energy lit up the evening bringing smiles, cheers, and laughter to everyone watching. Children, parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, friends, and community neighbors all joined in the fun, proving that art and music have the power to connect hearts and strengthen community bonds.
🎁 Boo Crew Bundles: Sharing Care and Kindness
As part of our celebration, we also shared 100 Boo Crew Bundles with children and families in our community. Each care kit was thoughtfully curated to bring comfort, encouragement, and a smile with a touch of Halloween fun to those we serve.
