Our events connect participants with essential resources, meaningful support, and spaces where they can truly feel seen and included. Grounded in mindfulness, emotional health, and practical coping strategies, each gathering helps individuals build resilience and confidently face life’s challenges. Through engaging events and activities, educational opportunities, and shared moments of connection, we strengthen community bonds, raise awareness, reinforce family well-being, and promote healing and growth throughout the communities we serve.

YOUTH EMPOWERMENT

Loving Hands Children’s Home offers dynamic youth empowerment workshops that blend fun, connection, and essential life skills. Our programs are designed to support young people as they prepare for adulthood, giving them the knowledge, confidence, and real-world tools they need to thrive. Each workshop creates a safe and engaging space where youth can learn while enjoying hands-on activities, meaningful conversations, and supportive guidance from trusted mentors.

We proudly collaborate with a wide network of community-based organizations, allowing us to expand our reach, bring in diverse expertise,  and connect youth with real opportunities. Through these community partnerships, participants gain access to resources in education, mental wellness, financial literacy, career preparation and more . Together, we build a united support system that walks with youth every step of the way. Our impact is seen in the success of the young people we serve.Many have secured employment after completing our Career Readiness Workshop, where they practice interviewing, build resumes, explore career paths, etc. As youth transition out of foster care, we continue to stand beside them—helping them and supporting them after they secure housing, to turn their space into a true home. Whether it’s navigating adult responsibilities, connecting to community supports, or celebrating milestones, we ensure they never walk alone.

IN-HOME CARE

Loving Hands Children’s Home stands steadfast in supporting our founder’s noble endeavor to provide nurturing living accommodations and compassionate care services for displaced children. Rooted in safety and security, our sanctuary becomes a haven where every child finds comfort, belonging and the unwavering support they need to flourish and thrive. Together, we cultivate a nurturing environment filled with love, healing, and boundless opportunities, ensuring every child’s journey is guided by warmth, compassion and hope.

Our  Home provides a Registered Nurse 24Hrs a day, 7 Days a week, loving caregivers & Volunteers and a wide variety of care services and activities. At placement physical, emotional, and mental health assessments are obtained, which focus on identifying chronic concerns and assessing the clients short & long term care needs. We then utilize an array of wrap-around services that assist in promoting measurable improvement in the child’s ability to exhibit secure attachment behaviors, achieve optimal social, emotional and cognitive development, and allow for each child to reach their fullest developmental potential.

Loving Hands Children’s Home embraces and uplifts our founder, a compassionate registered nurse, who tirelessly delivers 24-hour care and unwavering support to our cherished children. With love as our guiding principle, we honor her dedication and extend her nurturing spirit throughout our organization, ensuring every child receives the warmth, care, and attention they deserve. Upon waking children are assisted with activities of daily living including hygiene, grooming and environmental care.

We pride ourselves on Fun, engaging and mentally stimulating daily activities. Our children and youth go to public schools, play sports, participate in after-school activities, have chores, and hang out with friends – just like other kids their age. We encourage accountability and responsibility through community service and other projects to build confidence, self-esteem and leadership skills.

Loving Hands Children’s Home is a huge proponent of natural and organic living. We take great pride in our Edible Forest and horticultural activities that supply a tranquil space and safe haven for our children and animal family. We are able to teach our children about healthy choices & lifestyles, improving earth health, healing and the beneficial symbiotic relationships between all life on earth… humans, plants, animals, etc.

Through our Loving Hands Community we will continue to positively impact lives, leading by example through teaching, compassion, respect, responsibility and safety.

Care staff will be increased as needed to ensure the proper staff-to-client ratio.
